The story behind Lakeland Rose Cottage

Nearly 30 years ago, I bought this cottage as my first home - and I’ve loved it ever since.

It’s where life unfolded. After meeting my husband, Graham, we built our life here and raised our children, Sarah and Samuel.

As we grew, we eventually outgrew the cottage. Moving on was a stretch - but one thing was always certain: I would never sell it.

I wanted it to remain a home our children could always return to - a place filled with memories, comfort, and belonging.

Today, we share Lakeland Rose Cottage as a peaceful escape for others to enjoy.

Set in a quiet hamlet in Windermere, it offers something special in every season:

  • Spring & Summer - longer days and outdoor adventures

  • Autumn - quieter stays and stunning colours

  • Winter - cosy, peaceful breaks

A place to rest, recharge, and feel at home.

We look forward to welcoming you soon.
